Wooded Acres

Stampin' Up! have just released a really good selection of Online Exclusive products and Wooded Acres is one of them.

The purpose

To try out a new set and make a card using different shades of a single colour.

The make

Wooded Acre is a small set, only two stamps, and a good price at £16. The stamp I have used is a lovely scene of pine trees, you can line up the left hand side against the right to stagger the tree arrangement.

I have used three different shades of green, Lost Lagoon, Summer Splash and Pool Party which co-ordinate nicely with the sheet of Timeless Plaid dsp I chose.

I've used Spotlight on Nature dies to cut the circles and the 'miss you' sentiment is from Simply Said.

A few embellishments add some texture to the card and I wanted to stay with the same colours, so I've used Lost Lagoon Soft Cording and Lost Lagoon and Pool Party Rainbow Dots.

I'm determined to make more cards for men this year and this set is perfect for that.
