Wildflower Birthday

Today’s card was created for a Casually Crafting Design Team sketch challenge.

I’ve used Awash With Beauty dsp which has really pretty floral images in bright colours. The piece I’ve used features Balmy Blue, Calypso Coral and Mossy Meadow.

I started by creating a background for my stamped flowers.

I don't have Mossy Meadow so have used Pear Pizzazz for the background and Old Olive for the stems. I'm finding Watercolor Shapes really useful, the circles in particular have been used on several of my recent projects. In addition to the stamped shapes, I have added some splatter using a Color & Contour stamp.

With the background created I've stamped some stems set at different heights. Then I used a little single flower stamp to add some Calypso Coral flowers.

This card has several layers of cardstock and dsp. First there is a white card base, then a Calypso Coral rectangle. On the sits the pretty blue dsp rectangle and then two strips of flowery dsp.

The stamped piece has been mounted onto Pear Pizzazz cardstock and then stuck in place using dimensionals. My sentiment has been fussy cut, lastly some Fine Sparkle gems in co-ordintaing colours have been added.
