This is my Global Design Project colour challenge entry #337 featuring Soft Sea Foam, Blushing Bride and So Saffron.
These are three really pretty, fresh, spring colours that work so well together. I wanted to keep my card quite simple, so have used a single stamped wildflower stem and a sentiment with some dry embossing and a decorative border.
I have used the Stripes embossing folder (stripes & Splatters) and embossed on the left and right hand side leaving a smooth area in the centre for me to stamp on.
The border has been created by stamping some white card scraps in the three colours using the large marble texture stamp from Artistically Inked, from which I die cut the hexagons. I used a narrow strip of card and stuck them down in a row. From there I used my trimmer to cut the size pieces I wanted. I used some very narrow foam adhesive strip and a mini dimensional on each piece to stick them in place.
The image and sentiment are both from Wildflower Path, I really love the simplicity of this set. I have completed the card by adding a few tiny Brushed Brass Butterflies.
