After what feels like months and months of cold, wet weather, we are having a week of sunshine. What better time to craft with a new bundle called Notes and Totes which shouts Summer!

The purpose
Global Design Project sketch challenge #gdp490

The tools
Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
The products
Stamp set(s) - Notes & Totes
Dies - Notes & Totes, Textured Notes
DSP - Florals in Bloom
The colours
Cloud Cover, Strawberry Slush, Timid Tiger, Darling Duckling & Secret Sea.
The make
My first task was to choose which design I wanted to use for the dsp layer, Florals in Bloom has a great selection of bright, colourful floral images. I settled on the one with yellow, orange and pink flowers, so pretty.
My next layer is the reverse side of one of the other sheets and I've cut it using Textured Notes dies. The little circle (Stitched Shapes) has a wave pattern embossed into it (Soft Waves).
Then the fun starts with my die cut elements from the set, I chose to use the sun cream tube, the little pump dispenser, starfish and the sunglasses. I wanted to use the tote bag but it was a little too big for my card design, I will however, be using it very soon!

The set has the sentiment 'sending warm wishes’I just inked up the warm wishes bit to fit on my label.
I love the bright colours and fun elements in this card and can't wait to share more details with you when the set goes on sale in May.
Thanks for looking,
