In Color & Contour

This month’s Casually Crafting Design Team challenge features the new In Colours and I’ve chosen to use all five!

These colours are so rich and vibrant, perfect for a bold, cheerful card. I've used Color & Contour which I've only had for a short while. I have no idea why it took me so long, I've used the stamps and coordinating dies so many times recently.

I decided to go for a slim card (UK size is DL), the image layer is 7 7/8"x 3 3/4". I stamped some flowers in Starry Sky then added the leaf in Parakeet Party. I stamped two extra of each to fussy cut and add to the card later. The flowers have been coloured in using Orchid Oasis and Sweet Sorbet blends.

I stamped the splatter in Tahitian Tide and then used a blending brush to add a little more colour.

I stamped the sentiment and then trimmed to size, a slightly larger rectangle of Starry Sky Glimmer Paper sits underneath.

To add even more sparkle, I've used Orchid Oasis Metallic Woven ribbon. I pulled the strands apart and then looped them around using double sided tape to stick to the back of the glimmer paper.
