This is currently my go to stamp set for a bit of relaxing colouring. Not too big, not too many colours and nice definite outlines to colour up to.
I have created these cards for the latest Global Design Project sketch challenge GDP#374.
Full of Love is in the current annual catalogue, I can't believe it took me so long to get it. Now that I have it though, I can't stop using it. I have combined it here with some stunningly beautiful new papers.
Dainty Flowers dsp will be available from 5th January 2023 as a Saleabration item, free with a £45 catalogue spend. There is a mix of pretty florals, patterns and watercolour effects amongst the 12 x 12 sheets. Every single sheet is beautiful and I will definitely be stocking up whilst it is available!
I used my Stampin' Blends to colour the images, I wasn't able to completely match the dsp colours as Blushing Bride isn't available as a Blend and I didn't have Rich Razzleberry or Crushed Curry. Sometimes though you just have to use what you have and I think the colours I used work just fine.
I did some fussy cutting once I'd coloured and added an extra layer to the larger image, just the little envelope in the middle.
Each card has a base layer of cardstock 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" on which sits the dsp 5 1/2" x 3 3/4". The sentiment has been heat embossed onto the same colour and die cut using a label die (Sending dies).
I've used Brushed Metallic Dots, the gunmetal coloured ones, on the image in one card and on the label in the other.
I love how both of these cards turned out and I'm not sure if I can choose between them. Do you have a favourite?
If you are interested in purchasing any of the items used here, you will find product links below, except the dsp link which won't be available until January. Please use this months host code and if your order is over £30 you will get a hand made thank you card and small gift from me.
Thanks for looking,
Katie x
