Dainty ‘die cut’ Delight

This is my first play with dies from the Dainty Delight bundle and it is a card for a Global Design Project CASE the designer challenge, #GDP376.

I love the embossed background and white die cut details on Connie's card, those were the elements that inspired me to make my card.

There are dies to cut out the stamped floral images and there are also lots of little dies, my favourite being the daisies.

I wanted the overall look of the card to be simple and delicate so my die cut pieces are mostly white with just some colour in the Granite Gray flower centres.

My card base is A6 size, the dsp layer (5 5/8” x 3 7/8”) has had some texture added using Timeworn Type embossing folder. I’ve heat embossed the sentiment onto a die cut label (Natural Prints dies).

The dies in this set cut beautifully and are so delicately detailed, wouldn’t the colours in this card be perfect for a Wedding card?
