We are being thoroughly spoilt with lovely sunny weather at the moment, although the gardens are crying out for some rain. My card for this month's Casually Crafting Design Team sketch challenge is full of sunshine.
The sketch is quite a simple one, I only have one size circle punch so used a bit of creative licence with the two smaller circles.
My card features the wonderful Circle Sayings stamp set and the equally wonderful Rays of Light.
I started by stamping the sun rays in Daffodil Delight on Lemon Lolly cardstock. Next I stamped the wave image and punched the circle, then the seashells, I stamped two sets of shells and fussy cut the ones I wanted to use.
My sentiment (Sending Smiles) has been heat embossed in white onto Misty Moonlight card stock. The dsp is Let's Go Fishing, there are some lovely pieces which don't have any fish on them at all.
I coloured in the image and little shells using Stampin' Blends, assembled the layers and finally added some Linen Thread and Wild Wheat dots.
I wonder what the other design team members have created for this challenge, you can check them out by clicking on the links below.
If you are interested in purchasing any of the items used here, you will find product links below. Please use this months host code and if your order is over £30 you will get a hand made thank you card and small gift from me.
Thanks for looking,
