I know the focal point of this card is a rather large bag, but this week's theme for the Global Design Project challenge is 'Ocean' and…well, it does have seashells and a little bit of sand in the background.

The purpose
Global Design Project sketch challenge #gdp491

The tools
Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine
The products
Stamp set - Notes & Totes
Dies - Notes & Totes, Perennial Postage
DSP - Everyday Skies, Florals in Bloom
The colours
Petunia Pop, Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, Timid Tiger & Darling Duckling
The make
The Notes & Totes die set (available to order at the beginning of May) contains so many wonderful elements, the fence, the sea shells, the sun glasses etc, but the star of the show has to be this tote bag. It can be made flat for a card front or by cutting two pieces, you can turn it into a 3D bag. It has different handles and fastenings, a pocket for the front, there really are endless possibilities.

My card features a piece of Everyday Skies dsp (available online) and I have torn some Basic Beige cardstock for the 'sand', both have been cut using a large Perennial Postage die. The fence pieces were then added to this to create my background scene for the bag.
I've used a piece of Florals in Bloom, this paper is so pretty, to create the bag and added Secret Sea trim pieces.
The scarf is Petunia Pop and has been stamped in the same colour with a stamp from the coordinating Notes & Totes set. I could have added a water bottle, a pump dispenser, a tube of sun cream, there are so many fun pieces in this set, but I just went for the sun glasses this time and, of course, a few sea shells.

Sending warm wishes (Notes & Totes) is a perfect sentiment for such a Summery card and would be perfect for a Birthday, a Get Well or just to say Hi.
When the new catalogue and online exclusive products are released I will add product links to this post. Right now, I'm off to make a few more tote bags!
Back soon,
