I’ve enjoyed creating today’s card, Stampin’ Up! have some really pretty blues in the current colour range.
My card is for this week’s Global Design Project sketch challenge #GDP350.
My card base is Starry Sky, the other colours featured are Orchid Oasis and Tahitian Tide, all three in the 2022-24 In Color range.
I started with my die cut wisteria. I added Orchid Oasis and Starry Sky to white card using a blending brush.
The top layer is Tahitian Tide glimmer paper which has a lovely ombre effect. I've die cut a circle aperture and then embossed it using one of the Elegant Eucalyptus 3D embossing folders. In between these layers I've added a light splatter pattern (Color & Contour) to a piece of white cardstock.
I grabbed some of the spare pieces around my dimensionals to add to the back of the glimmer paper layer, raising it up off the card base.
The sentiment has been heat embossed in white on Starry Sky and then fussy cut.
As I've used a dark coloured card base, I've added a white panel inside stamped with a sentiment and both wisteria and splatter in the same blue shades.
