Sometimes it’s nice to keep things really simple and let the stamped image be the star of the show, Bird’s Eye View was a perfect set to choose for a simply stamped card.
I absolutely love these cute little birds, and they really are a joy to colour.
The set is images only so no sentiments, I used Charming Sentiments and Christmas Classics to add a greeting. All the stamping has been done using Memento Black ink onto a simple 5 1/2” x 3 3/4” white layer.
I actually stamped all five panels first using a variety of birds and changing the position of the branch(es). Then I stamped a sentiment that I felt fitted the image and set about adding colour using a variety of Stampin’ Blends.
When I first saw this set I pictured one of the birds as a robin, so made a really simple Christmas card.
Each of the birds can be coloured in so many different ways, I love both the pastel and bright versions. Lastly I mounted the white panel onto an A6 sized coloured card base, choosing a colour to compliment the image.
Super simple, super cute, I hope you like them.
