I haven't had much crafting time lately but managed to grab an hour today and create this card in gorgeous shades of green using the Artistically Inked bundle.
The texture in these stamps is really quite stunning. I just used one stamp here to create a green base under the die cut leaves. The colours used are Soft SeaFoam, Mint Macaron and Soft Succulent.
I used a blending brush to remove any excess ink before stamping, if your ink pad is very juicy you will lose some of the detail and end up with a dark outline. The sentiment has been stamped in Evening Evergreen.
The leaves have been die cut from Evening Evergreen cardstock and to add a little shine I heat embossed in silver.
I used one of the little flower stamps just to dab on some versa mark on each of the leaves but not to completely cover it. I like the contrast of silver and the rich dark green.
The metallic silver thread ties in with the silver embossing beautifully, I've left the bow 'tails' long, I like the way it adds interest in the white area of the card.
The gems around the sentiment are In Color Jewels in Soft Succulent, just for a little more sparkle.
I don't know why but I think this could almost pass as a Christmas card, perhaps it's the colours, Evening Evergreen is definitely a Christmassy green. Or perhaps it's the way I've embossed, if it was white instead of silver, wouldn't it look like snow? Now there's an idea!
I hope you like it, it felt so good to be creating and hopefully won't be too long before I pick up my stamps again.
Thanks for looking, below you will find the product links to the items used.
