And so it begins…..

So, how early is too early? For me, now is about the right time to start thinking about crafting for Christmas. I’m so glad Stampin’ Up! changed the release of the seasonal catalogue from July to September, July really was a tad early.

Have you seen anything of the new catalogue? If you are in the UK and would like a catalogue posted please let me know, I’d be happy to send you one. There are some amazing new products and for me, a few that I just have to have!

I do love to use non traditional colours in my Christmas cards, wintery pinks and blues over reds and greens, although you will definitely see some red, green and gold in future projects.

My colour inspiration this year is coming from the gorgeous suite Winter Meadow, in particular the beautiful dsp. Lost Lagoon is my new favourite green and it works so well with Misty Moonlight and Moody Mauve.

I also love the combination of Pretty Peacock, Lost Lagoon and Pool Party. You will see these colours a lot over the coming weeks and months, I hope you like them.

Back to that dsp, here's a little sneak peak of my favourite sheets, it really is very pretty.

I have created four Christmas cards using the dsp, Joy of Noel (bundle) and Christmas Classics (stampset). These were in my preorder, I think I chose well.

I have also used some existing product - Tailor Made Tags dies, Stylish Shapes dies, Merry Melody 3d embossing folder, Fern 3d embossing folder and Brightest Glow stampset.

I have so many more ideas for these sets and this beautiful dsp, I hope you like the cards I've created so far.

The new catalogue will be available to view online and order from on 6th September, not too long to wait if you are interested in getting started with your Christmas crafting.

Thanks for looking,

Katie x
