I had a little time for some crafting yesterday and decided to create something other than a Christmas card! The Global Design Project challenge this week, #gdp468, is to CASE the designer Charlet Mallett, that was my inspiration for this cute new baby card using the Cutest Onesie bundle.
I’ve been pretty true to the layout of Charlet’s gorgeous card, replacing the coffee themed elements with baby ones.
My card base is Fresh Freesia, the stamping onto this is using Highland Heather. I used the lovely Cute Crochet embossing folder to add some texture to the Pool Party panel.
The sweet little vest has been stamped and die cut using Perennial Lavender dsp. Cutest Onsie is a small set, therefore very reasonably priced, and has such cute little dies like the clothes hanger and the rattle. All the sentiments came from the same set but I used an extra die set (Greeting of the Season) for the label shape.
